In 2004 Cari Holbrook started her marketing agency in San Antonio, A la Mode Marketing, after an invitation from a friend led her to assist a general surgeon with marketing new revenue streams to increase profitable sales.
Since then, Cari and team have launched and managed marketing programs for businesses in a variety of industries, from locally owned to national healthcare facilities.
Background in marketing management set the stage
Paving the way for entrepreneurship, Cari spent more than a decade managing marketing and communication programs for Fortune 500 companies including Electronic Data Systems (now HP Enterprises) and Clarke American (now Harland Clarke). During this time she honed skills that today are critical components in A la Mode Marketing’s toolkit, including new business development, cross-functional team leadership, project planning and execution, marketing strategy and promotion. “Cari is a passionate, aggressive individual who is constantly thinking of ways to improve the business and move projects forward,” Nino Tarantino-Marketing SVP, Clarke American.
